Acorn Playgroup offers bilingual and trilingual programmes for children aged 8 to 30 months, helping them transition smoothly to pre-nursery education.
1) Trial Class: Experience our engaging learning environment with a trial class.
2) Enrolment: If satisfied, proceed to enrol for the term through our online application form.
3) Interview Bypass: Children who attend for 3+ months can bypass the initial interview at Mighty Oaks (standard procedures still apply).
4) Successful Transitions: Our graduates are consistently accepted into top kindergartens across Hong Kong, including:

Application Process
Online Application
- Start Date: Applications for PN and K1 open each September
- Rolling Admissions: PN–K3 applications accepted year-round
- Age Requirements:
- PN: 2 – 2 years 11 months
- K1: 2 years 8 months – 3 years 11 months
- How to Apply:
- Submit the online application
- Upload required documents
- Pay the HK$40 application fee
- Confirmation: You’ll receive an email once submitted
Interview Process
- Child’s Play Session: A relaxed, interactive class with our educators
- Exemption: Children enrolled in Acorn Playgroup for 3+ months are exempt
- Parent–Principal Meeting: A discussion about your child’s strengths and goals
- Interview Timing:
- PN: February
- K1–K3: November
- Rolling interviews available year-round
School Offer
- Notification: Results emailed within 2 weeks
- Waitlist: Regular updates provided
- Acceptance: Confirm your child’s place with a HK$970 non-refundable fee
- Registration: Begins in-person in May
Fees (2024–2025):
PN: HK$7,100 per instalment (11 instalments)
K1–K3: HK$7,000 per instalment (10 instalments)
