1. Our Kennedy Town campus offers half-day trilingual programmes from PN to K3. 

2. Offers an interactive after-school program for K1 to K3 students to further enhance their learning experience. 

3. School fees are paid in 11 instalments (PN and K1) and 10 instalments (K2 and K3) for each academic year. 

4. All students graduating from Mighty Oaks are given priority in the admission to our affiliated primary school "Bloom KKCA Academy," which offers bilingual, project-based curriculum to children from grade 1 to 12.

1. PN and K1 applications for the upcoming school year normally start in September. We accept rolling admission for K2 and K3 applications. 

2. Children who reach the age of 2 years to 2 years 11 months are welcome to apply for our Pre-Nursery (PN) Class, while those who reach the age of 2 years 8 months to 3 years 11 months may apply for our Nursery (K1) Class. 

3. To apply, complete the online application form, upload a digital copy of the required supporting documents, and pay the non-refundable application fee of $40. 

4. You will receive an acknowledgement email upon successful submission.

1. Our process has two friendly interview stages: First, your child participates in interactive play activities led by nurturing teachers. This allows observation of their skills through natural interaction in a comfortable setting. Next, parents meet with our Principal to discuss your aspirations for your child's education and gain deeper insights into our philosophy, curriculum, and approach.

2.Children who have enrolled in our esteemed Acorn Playgroup programs for a minimum of three months prior to the interview date will be exempt from the initial stage of the child interview. Acorn Playgroup provides specialized programs catering to infants and toddlers aged 8 months to 2 years.

3. Interview Timeline: Pre-Nursery (PN) interviews typically begin in February, while Kindergarten (K1-K3) interviews start in November.

1. Parents will be notified of the admission results by email within two weeks. If no places are available, the applicant will be placed on the waiting list and will be notified once a place becomes available. 

2. To accept the placement, parents are required to submit the non-refundable reservation fee of $970. 

3. The in-person registration process will start in May, and parents will receive the relevant registration information in due course.

In accordance with the school vision of Mighty Oaks International Nursery & Kindergarten Limited ("Mighty Oaks") to better the community, Mighty Oaks and House of Blessings Foundation Limited (“HBF”) offer a full scholarship to children in need so that they can attend a high-quality, private international playgroup, nursery and kindergarten that best meet their needs, regardless of their guardians' ability to pay or where they live. 

The mission of the scholarship scheme is to touch the lives of children and families through an academically-rigorous playgroup, nursery and kindergarten experience and make a positive difference in their future. It also empowers families with the information and training workshops they need to provide the best home environment for their children. 2 scholarships are available each school year and are not granted on the basis of academic prowess or race.

2022-2023 Scholarship Application

Acorn Playgroup offers prestigious bilingual/trilingual programmes for infants and toddlers aged 6 to 30 months. Our engaging sessions promote enjoyment, learning, and a smooth transition to pre-nursery education. Our dedicated educators design play-based, multi-sensory activities to foster a lifelong love for learning.

• For families whose children have been in our playgroup for at least 3 months prior to the pre-nursery admission interview, we skip the child's interview and proceed directly to the second round of interviews. However, they are still required to follow the formal admission procedures.

Important information for parents:

• Please note that there will be no classes held on public holidays or school holidays, unless otherwise arranged.
• All Acorn Playgroup children who are interested in joining the Mighty Oaks Pre-nursery or Nursery classes are required to follow the formal admission procedures.
• Reapplication for children who previously attended Acorn Playgroup will be considered, but enrollment in the same class is not guaranteed, and placement on a waiting list may be necessary.

Adverse Weather

• We closely monitor weather conditions and follow the guidelines set by the Hong Kong Observatory and our school website.

• If there is a tropical cyclone or rainstorm in force 2 hours before the event/ playgroup class/ playzone pass commences, please check our website for announcements.
  
   
• If the following warning signals are in force when playzone pass/playgroup classes/events are in sessions, they will continue until the end of normal hours. Parents and children are recommended to remain at the Playhouse or you may take your child home under safe conditions.

  • Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force; and/or

  • Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above is hoisted

• Parents should decide whether to attend the class. No refunds or make-up classes will be arranged due to bad weather conditions. Please consider safety first when deciding whether to proceed to our Playhouse as the weather conditions may vary in different areas of Hong Kong.
